Heaven’s Hell, a movie by Katung Aduwak was made six years ago but only just got released to the public. This was made known to us by Katung himself when he addressed the viewers at the end of the movie. He apologized for the few technical issues we might have noticed in the movie and promised that the next movie will be way better as he has come a long way from six years ago. Of course there were issues of sound and picture grading in some parts of the movie but they were too few and too minor to take away from the quality of the movie.

Heaven’s Hell is a movie on mental health and it’s based on true life story. Coincidentally the movie got released on the month of May which happens to be World’s Mental Health Month. The star studded movie had a very strong story line and one could see a lot of effort went into the making of the movie. I particularly love the use of suspense in the movie.

Barrister Edward is partner and best friends with the smart and arrogant Jefferson. Edward was portrayed as the dedicated and loving husband to the unstable Alice but something in me kept telling me something was wrong somewhere. It all made sense at the end and I must appreciate Katung for his brilliant use of suspense. Thanks to Eddie MPr we were able to see the movie during premiere at Genesis Cinema Abuja. Heaven’s Hell didn’t end the way most people expected it to but it’s a movie everyone needs to see.
