Oops. It’s Monday again, the Official least-liked day of the week. The Monday blues are here. We know guys, we hate it and even Forbes magazine does. But here’s how we get through it.
You are probably on your way to work or already there as you read this on a Monday morning. Maybe, you are still snuggled up in bed thinking of the best way to get up. Whichever, these sacred tips we are about to share have been time proven and will always come in handy. Here’s how to cure Monday blues.
1. Get enough sleep the night before
Don’t let us over emphasize this. Get your sleep, you deserve it.
2. Get out of bed earlier
This is a huge trick. Don’t fall for the one more minute lie. Jump out of bed at least one hour before your usual time and do something that makes you happy.
3. Play the music or podcast you love as soon as you get up
Blast the sound straight from your bed and let the rhythm wake you up. No slurring and crawling on Mondays.
4. Plan a Monday’s night out with your friends
Give it that Friday vibe and schedule a movie or drinks time with your homies. Something to look forward to.
5. Dress up elaborately
This is the best part. Take your time to dress up. It stimulates your brain and prevents you from seeing Monday as a chore. The office is your runway.
6. Plan your lunch
Yes, food makes everything better. Don’t have the usual snacks. Take the time to plan a proper meal and look forward to eating it.
7. Take small breaks during work
Enough of the file and work swamp. This is what makes us hate Mondays. Set small breaks in between the heavy pile of work and shake off the weariness.
8. Smile as much as possible
Don’t even let the frown creep in. Smile and smile; going about your work in the most jolly way possible.
